Monterey Plaza Hotel made plans to completely remodel their adjacent café and coffee shop. This shift offered an opportunity to completely reimagine the brand and menu. With its location on Cannery Row near the site of Doc Rickett’s memorial, there was a desire to convey a nod to old Monterey, while embracing the fresh modern aesthetic planned for the new interior space. The new concept demonstrates their renewed care in sourcing and offers an eye toward retail merchandising. A destination for locals and tourists alike, Tidal Coffee is a celebration of place offering stunning views of one of the most beautiful patches of Pacific Coast.
